Distorted Histories: Individualism or Collaboration

Historians writing in the framework of modernism/coloniality often want to tell histories of great individuals who change histories almost alone. However, in most cases, change happens through longstanding community collaborations and organizing efforts by people who care about survival. These stories need to be told truthfully so we can understand that everyone can participate in change making by being co-catalysts of transitions and transformations.
